Our big plans of buying a small business in Player El Agua was squashed when we applied to renew our licences to trade we wear told directly buy the Mayor that unless we paid for the licence and gave him 40 millon Bs he would personally make sure we did not get the necessary papers to operate our Café he waited for our licence to expire and when we refused to pay he held the licence so we could not tradeWe waited for the elections in Jun 16th 07 and hoped for a new elected Mayer but unfortunately he was re-elected so our Family packed our things and returned to Germany along with several of our new friends .
This is so unfortunate because Margarita isle is so wonderful the people are kind and friendly life is generally very good I hope somebody from Venezuela reads this who has contact with high authority to look what this man is doing to Player el Agua investment growth we understood there to be a small amount of corruption in margarita but this is ridicules.
